Petite K2 Jasper & Silver Drop Pendant

A little piece of nature’s artwork! This unusual K2 Jasper drop caught my attention with its beautiful combination of soft greens, deep blues, and earthy markings. No two stones are exactly alike, and that’s part of what makes them so interesting!

Despite its name, K2 Jasper isn’t actually jasper. It’s a stone typically composed of light-colored granite with distinctive blue azurite inclusions, found in the mountainous region of northern Pakistan near K2, the world’s second-highest mountain.

I wrapped this little drop in sterling silver and paired it with a brushed silver charm for a simple, contemporary look. The contrasting textures complement the natural patterns of the stone without taking attention away from its beautiful colors.
