Whether your go-to outfit is jeans and a T-shirt or a dressier cocktail dress, layering jewelry (stacking rings, bracelets, necklaces and even multiple earrings on the lobe) can be an effortless way to polish up your look! You may even end up breaking out that piece you love but you haven’t worn in ages from your jewelry box! The final effect: a dynamic and chic touch!

Layering is an art form in itself! But by following these 3 simple rules, you can create a thoughtful ensemble that will become your regular pairings for any outfit.

* Rule 1 - Keep it simple! Keep your accessories harmonious. For instance, with necklaces, combine a statement piece with 1 or 2 dainty chains and graduate them in length.

* Rule 2 - Mix it up! Don’t be afraid to mix up your bracelets and rings in different stones, metals, as well as shapes and sizes. For instance, wear 1 silver cuff with 2 or 3 (silver and copper) bangles.

* Rule 3 - Make it meaningful! Choose one or two areas to highlight. Don’t overdo it. For instance, for rings, spread out your hands by wearing one on each finger or experiment with shapes and lines, combining vertical and horizontal designs.

But the most important rule of all: HAVE FUN! You just want to enhance your personal style and go with something that you feel comfortable wearing.
