This combination of the pearly hues of the labradorite (main oval stone) and the shimmery golden hues of the pyrite (round accent stone), make this pendant a subtle iridescent background for a meditation garden. Forged copper leaves and other playful elements from nature, give this necklace a very organic look. The native peoples of icy Canada believed labradorite was created from "frozen fire", a result of the northern lights. It is said to encourage us to keep our heads in the clouds. Pyrite, known as "fool's gold", protects against all forms of negative vibrations and/or energy.
Like most of my pieces, the back has a secret story to be known just by the wearer. 100% hand fabricated with Sterling Silver, the pendant hangs from one of my favorite and most fun-to-make chains, made with 4 bar links and fused balled-end round links.
This necklace belongs to the One of a Kind Collection and, as the name suggests, it is unique. Hence, once sold it is not repeated.
Materials: Labradorite, pyrite, copper, oxidized Sterling Silver. Handmade chain.
Size: adjustable 17" - 18" Long (including pendant). The pendant is about 2" wide by 1-1/4" long (including the bail on the right).
